NSSGA Signs Exclusive Partnership with ConstructionJobs.comSan Diego, CA April 2, 2002 ---ConstructionJobs.com, the premier online job board and resume database for the construction and design industries, this morning announced the signing of a new strategic alliance with the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association, NSSGA. The partnership stems from negotiations at this year's ConExpo-Con/Agg exposition and trade show in Las Vegas. The partnership makes ConstructionJobs.com the exclusively-endorsed Internet job board for NSSGA whose 900 member companies will receive a discount off standard rates for posting jobs and conducting database searches for qualified construction professionals from trade laborers and entry level to mid and upper level management personnel. The NSSGA represents the crushed stone, sand and gravel or aggregate industries. Their 900-plus member companies produce 90% of the crushed stone and 70% of the sand and gravel consumed annually in the United States. More than three billion tons of aggregate (or 2.72 billion metric tons) were estimated to have been produced in the U.S. in 2000 at a value of approximately $14.2 billion, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
